What is GH2132 - UNS S66286 High Temperature Alloy?
Grade GH2132 high temperature alloy, also known as UNS S66286 / A-286 alloy, is the most widely used nickel alloy.
GH2132 alloy is a high-performance Fe-25Ni-15Cr based superalloy, strengthened by the addition of molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, vanadium, and trace amounts of boron. This alloy delivers excellent yield strength, long-term durability, and creep resistance at temperatures below 650°C. It also offers good processing plasticity and satisfactory welding properties, making it a versatile material for high-temperature applications.
GH2132 alloy is widely used in the aerospace industry for manufacturing critical high-temperature components such as turbine disks, compressor disks, rotor blades, and fasteners. Beyond aerospace, GH2132 is also applied in the transportation, automotive, chemical processing, and nuclear energy industries due to its outstanding strength and resistance to harsh environments.
