What is GH4169 - UNS N07718 High Temperature Alloy?
Grade GH4169 high temperature alloy, also known as UNS N07718 / W.Nr. 2.4668 alloy, is the most widely used nickel alloy.
GH4169 is a precipitation-strengthened nickel-based high-temperature alloy known for its outstanding comprehensive performance across a wide temperature range of -253°C to 650°C. Within this range, GH4169 alloy exhibits excellent yield strength, ranking among the top deformation-resistant high-temperature alloys below 650°C.
In addition to its exceptional strength, GH4169 nickel alloy provides excellent fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. These properties make it highly reliable in demanding environments.
The alloy also demonstrates good machinability and welding performance, further enhancing its value in aerospace, nuclear, chemical processing, and power generation industries.
