Incoloy 800 Pipe Spool (UNS N08800 / W.Nr. 1.4876)

High-strength corrosion-resistant alloy Pipe Spool for heat exchangers and process piping

As a leading supplier of nickel-based superalloy custom pipe spools, SEATHER TECHNOLOGY specializes in the production of premium Incoloy 800 pipe spool (UNS N08800) engineered for exceptional corrosion resistance, high strength, and long-term reliability.

Alloy 800 (UNS N08800 / W.Nr. 1.4876) is a widely used material for construction of equipment requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength, and stability for service up to 1500°F (816°C). Alloy 800 offers general corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and, by virtue of its content of nickel, resists stress corrosion cracking.

Alloy 800 is a commonly used superalloy. Its corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance are much better than ordinary stainless steel. At the same time, it has a lower price than the nickel alloy 600. Therefore, alloy 800 is a very cost-effective choice.

Custom pipe spool fabrication is one of SEATHER’s core manufacturing capabilities. We fabricate complete stainless steel and nickel alloy piping systems—ranging from large industrial projects consisting of thousands of spools to routine maintenance jobs and single-spool orders.

Our production facilities are staffed with highly skilled craftsmen, pipe fitters, welders, and fabricators. Backed by strict quality control, advanced welding processes, and a proven record of safety and precision, we ensure every alloy 800 pipe spool meets international standards and project-specific requirements. SEATHER is committed to exceeding customer expectations in design accuracy, fabrication quality, delivery schedule, logistics, and cost efficiency.

What is Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800)

Alloy 800 also referred to as the UNS N08800/W.Nr. 1.4876 alloy.

It is the nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, nitrogen and silicon.

Alloy 800 is used for heat-treating equipment such as baskets, trays, and fixtures.

In chemical and petrochemical processing, the 800 alloy is used for heat exchangers and other piping systems in nitric acid media especially where resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is required.

In the production of paper pulp, digester-liquor heaters are often made of alloy 800.

In petroleum processing, the alloy is used for heat exchangers that air cool the process stream.

The standard forms in which this alloy is available are round, flats, forging stock, tube, plate, sheet, wire and strip.

More Information About Incoloy 800 Pipe Spool (UNS N08800)

When you choose to buy Incoloy 800 Pipe Spool (UNS N08800), there have some important points we need to know before we get started.

So enjoy the read…

Pitting resistance equivalency numbers (PREN) for Incoloy 800 Pipe Spool (UNS N08800)

Incoloy 800 PREN: 21

The pitting resistance equivalency number uses the alloy’s chemical makeup to guess its power against pitting corrosion. You check how much chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and nitrogen are in the alloy. These elements help keep the steel safe. The most used formula is:

PREN = CR% + 3.3 x (MO% + 0.5 x W%) + 16 x N%

How to Purchase Incoloy 800 Pipe Spool (UNS N08800)
