What is 316Ti Austenitic Stainless Steel?

Grade 316Ti austenitic stainless steel, also referred to as the UNS S31635 / W.Nr. 1.4571 alloy.

It is a derivate of 316 stainless steel with titanium stabilization. 316Ti features better pitting resistance, tensile strength and yield strength than 316L.

Titanium is added to 316 stainless steel so as to enhance intergranular corrosion resistance following heating under the temperature range of 425-815°C.

This alloy is widely used in in chemical industries, pump shafts, marine industries.

Grade 316Ti stainless steel is available in forms including pipes, tubes, round rod, bar, plate, sheet, strips and foils products.
