Grade 440C stainless steel is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel.

Grade 440C is also referred to as the UNS S44004/W.Nr. 1.4125 stainless steel.

It has high strength, moderate corrosion resistance, good hardness and wear resistance.

Grade 440C stainless steel is widely used in knife blades, surgical instruments, ball bearings and valve parts.

Grade 440C stainless steel is available in the form of pipe, round bar, wire, plate, strip and foil section.
